Website Creative Designer / Developer / Programmer - Northern Computer Service, LLC - Appleton, WI

**Please note- you MUST be able to physically be in the Appleton, WI office 5 days a week. This position is not remote.**

Duties

• Support Senior and Junior web developers in maintaining approximately 500 existing client websites.
• Design, create and modify client websites using Joomla, Drupal, and hand-coded PHP.
• Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats.
• Ensure design elements work within a variety of browsers, devices, and screen settings.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed and responsiveness.
• Interface with clients to define website requirements and assist clients with making good decisions that will improve their online experience for their visitors.
• Assist the marketing team when performing technical discussions with existing & new customers.
• Keep up to date with the latest and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, MySQL, and other programming languages.
• Experience working in Joomla, Drupal, and other Content Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design tools.
• An understanding of responsive design and Search Engine Optimization.
• Familiarity with Domain name, Web hosting, and DNS setup and management.
• Possess problem diagnosis ability and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills to work on multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
• Experience in a Linux environment is a plus but is not required.
