Job Description

• Receive, unload, shelve, store, and issue goods and compile records of transactions
• Perform other stock-related duties including packing, labelling supplies and etc. in accordance with instructions
• Verify that all goods have arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and that the agreed quantity has been received.
• Troubleshoot or inform the responsible Purchaser about any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to responsible person or solve the issue with transport company directly for reimbursements and record keeping
• Ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of supplies. Ensure that goods are stored accurately and in accordance with instructions, keeping storage clean and tidy
• Reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required
• To issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists. Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches. Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods
• Deliver goods from warehouse to dedicated recipient in accordance with Jira tickets
• Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items in accordance with actual Stock management system
• Assign tasks to warehouse specialists
• Check the book balances with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.
• Assist the Accountants in finding out reason of discrepancies possibly caused by mistakes made during data input into warehouse management system
• Use internal systems according with Company's processes (e.g. E-Trader, Jira, etc.)
• Follow up standards and instructions for issuing, receiving and storing goods
• Perform other duties, as asked by the manager

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• At least 3 -5 years' experience in warehousing
• Knowledge of MS Excel and experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Axapta, SAP)
• Successfully complete pre-employment drug & background checks
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, evenings, weekends and holidays
• High school education or equivalent
• Great communication skills
• High sense of responsibility
• The ability to accurately fulfil the management's instructions and work tasks
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry different weights and different shapes of materials
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
• familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
• Valid driver's license
• the ability to accurately and methodically fulfil work tasks and keep detailed records
