Resident Inspectors are the NRC's own eyes and ears at the nation's nuclear power plants. On a daily basis, these highly trained and qualified professionals observe plant activities and check on how the plants meet federal safety requirements. Resident inspectors typically live in the communities around the plants they help oversee. The Resident Inspectors come from a variety of backgrounds. Have you worked in the U.S. Navy's nuclear program or the commercial nuclear industry? Do you have an engineering or science degree? If so, you could be a great candidate!
