UI Developer (Remote) - Advicent Solutions - Oshkosh, WI

As a UI Developer at Advicent, you will participate in an agile environment, developing and supporting our web-based applications. This team is focused primarily on frontend, user interface development.

This remote position can be permanent work-from-home, or a hybrid of at home/in-office.

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related discipline
• 3+ years of UI / frontend development
• Expert understanding of Javascript and frontend technologies
• Familiarity with Angular framework
• Experience with object-oriented principles in an Agile development environment
• Experience with writing and supporting unit tests
• Demonstrate a high level of creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking

• Desire to grow oneself and the skillsets of team members • Design, develop, and maintain applications

• Participate in development projects on a cross functional Agile team to maintain, enhance, and add onto Advicent’s product suite
• Support product deployments, including coordination, training, documentation, and troubleshooting
• Support test best practices, including unit and integration testing
• Utilize and maintain department development tools to continuously enhance Advicent’s Agile development process and coding standards
• Research and experiment with new technologies and techniques to continuously improve Advicent’s product suite
• Understand our products’, customers’, and partners’ needs in the Financial Planning industry
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
