Staff Accountant (Royalty & Subscription)

Brand Name company & a leader in the health & wellness industry in OC is searching for a Staff Accountant. This role will report directly to the Controller and be responsible for all general ledger and related accounting activities. This will involve significant hands-on account reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements. In addition, they will be responsible for assisting with implementing and building out the monthly accounting processes. This highly visible role offers the opportunity for significant growth as the company continues grow domestically & internationally. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
Responsibilities: Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Assist with other accounting projects

Requirements: 1-3 years of relevant experience
Great attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant ERP experience a plus (NetSuite)
BS / BA in Accounting, Finance
