Sr. Program Manager, Driver Program


The Amazon Logistics NA team works with operations and tech teams to become experts in both their present day operations and their future business needs. The goal of Amazon Logistics is to build a world-class Last Mile Operations. It is a new and aggressively growing business, both in size and scope.

This team works on driver experience and engagement and needs a leader to manage some of our key KPIs, stakeholder relationship across multiple teams and drive process improvements. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong operational background, leading without authority and taking data driven decisions for the program. He/ She will partner with various teams including, but not limited to HR, Legal, Employee Relations, Finance and technology teams to deliver this very high visibility program. In this position you will be responsible for managing communication with various team, identifying gaps, building strategic vision and creating short and long term roadmaps to solve for the same. This will also require working on standard work and building processes to improve existing processes using data analytics and building self-service tools for the stations to effectively operate.

  • Ability to understand operations at a detailed, practical level and also think at a strategic, big-picture level
  • Organizational skills; experience with Six Sigma and Project Management concepts to streamline and standardize tracking program launch milestones
  • Project management skills
  • Process-based and analytical/quantitative thinking skills; proven ability to generate ideas for continuous improvement
  • Negotiation and active listening skills
  • Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve objectives
  • Address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders
  • Share best practices with other Amazon teams
  • Travel required within the region
  • Customer-focused and professional demeanor
  • Organizational skill and an operations mindset
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
  • A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
  • Interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to invent and simplify on a large scale and gain buy-in from senior leadersBasic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
