Sr Manager - Seller Development

Selling Partner Development is a new organization that's focused on growing Selling Partners on Amazon. The organization develops insights, programs, and products that help Selling Partners accelerate their business on Amazon. The Sr. Manager role is responsible for building and executing this vision worldwide in partnership with our business, product and tech organizations. The role is in the spirit of a general manager position and will own the overall execution and delivery of a wide array of programs, products and initiatives to achieve our goals domestically and internationally. The position will serve a spokesperson for the program with executive leadership and be responsible for our quarterly and annual planning cycles. The right candidate will have proven expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams, including product/program management, data/BI, and account management, as well as a proven track record of launching and/or creating new programs. The role will manage a ~15-25 person organization. Past experience with similar sized teams is a must.

The first set of priorities will be developing a series of growth programs that will meaningfully improve the success of Selling Partners on Amazon. The team will work closely with expert account managers to cultivate deep team-wide expertise and best practices for growing businesses on Amazon, distill the insights into growth recommendations, and launch growth recommendations for our Selling Partners. The role will manage a BI team that will be responsible for deep analytics to determine which Selling Partners would benefit from various programs and to queue action items and growth insights for global account management teams and Selling Partners. The team will also work with worldwide product and business teams to innovate on new ways to grow Selling Partners.
Basic Qualifications

  • 5-8 years experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • 4 years experience in product / program management or related field
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Experience working with tech teams and international teams
  • Experiencing managing with account managers, customer support or sales teams
