The Digital Marketing team is currently seeking to fill the open position of Social Media Strategist. PESI is the nation’s leader in behavioral health education and publishing. The Social Media Strategist is an exciting opportunity to build PESI's competitive advantage by creating and executing innovative social strategies that support overall marketing and business objectives.

You’ll be joining a dynamic and fun team of marketers that are passionate about creating world-class innovative digital marketing solutions to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. You’ll play a crucial role in helping our team to reach the right people at the right time with the right message.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating, writing, editing, publishing and sharing on-brand daily content (e.g., original text, blogs, images, video, HTML) that expands social reach, builds meaningful engagement with our audience and drives revenue.
  • Set up and optimize social content on media sites within each platform for both organic and paid efforts (including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube).
  • Create a clear strategic plan for both organic content and paid campaigns that drive audience engagement metrics and leads to positive ROI.
  • Assist in monitoring and responding to customer comments, questions and reviews.
  • Ownership of customers issues, follow problems through to resolution, including sharing learnings with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with brand teams brainstorming creative social media campaigns, opportunities for new product launches, product knowledge, and product information.
  • Build relationships with external partners to stay informed of industry trends to ensure social content is relevant and fresh.
  • Audit content effectiveness. Gather data, analyze and make recommendations based on results.
  • Make data driven decisions related to the design and development of new campaigns/content ideas.
  • Be curious. Monitor and stay current on industry social media marketing trends, tools and resources.
    Requirements:
  • College Degree in Marketing or related field and relevant sales/marketing experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience in developing, trafficking and analyzing social media campaigns. Specifically strong experience in in the following platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube.
  • Coachable, intellectually curious and entrepreneurial-minded individual.
  • Experience with direct marketing copywriting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage production schedules and changing initiatives while meeting deadlines.
  • Motivation to quickly learn new technology.
  • Excellent problem solving skills in challenging and fast-paced environments.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with social media sites such as Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics service.
  • Experience with HTML,CSS is a STRONG PLUS.
  • Experience with graphics editing and management, i.e. Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience with video editing software similar to Adobe Premiere Elements.
  • Experience with blogging and content management systems.
  • Experience with SEO
