Cultivate and grow a community of people who enjoy Nostalgia’s and Farberware products & content, who are aware of Nostalgia & Farberware brand and who want to share and amplify that branded content with the purpose of increasing brand awareness, engagement and ultimately the sale of Nostalgia and Farberware products. The social media marketing specialist is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales. Work with Press Releases, influencers and
micro-influencers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Focus on lifestyle branding by utilizing all online branding content including photos, videos, influencer content, consumer generated content, and graphics
  • Identify and engage with key influencers, traffic generators, and potential brand advocates
  • Create effective benchmarks for digital marketing programs. Monitor, measure and analyze programs and adjust as appropriate
  • Create a digital marketing calendar and develop/coordinate online content
  • Responsible for continuous innovation in the digital marketing space leveraging new ways to promote content and engage with the online community to increase engagement and follower growth
  • Manage blogger outreach and micro influencers to increase Nostalgia brand awareness
  • Monitor all social media outlets; pages, sites, blogs on a daily basis and post/respond on particular topics or in response to posts/comments
  • Coordinate the use of our products by influencers within target markets and post videos, photos, and graphics in appropriate digital marketing channels
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Brand Voice Coordinator to update and maintain company websites, social media outlets, and online profiles and directories in alignment with the digital marketing calendar
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure brand voice and consistency for all Nostalgia & Farberware products
  • Consistently promote contests and giveaways in appropriate digital marketing channels
  • Produce monthly newsletters that will be distributed companywide & through Nostalgia Products website to the consumer
  • Act as a brand champion within the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
  • 1+ years of experience (or strong internship experience) in digital marketing, public relations, or communications
  • Active participation in a wide variety of social media activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization
  • Knowledgeable of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media best practices
  • A real passion for innovation and everything digital
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
