Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $15.79/hr

Benefits: $4.23/ hour worked in Health & Welfare Fringe Benefit, deposited directly into a 401(k)

Skookum is seeking a self-motivated and dedicated Janitor with a helpful attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

·       Performs cleaning services using proper equipment and supplies and follows procedures for safe use and operation.

·       Cleans and details facilities including trash removal, fill dispensers, dust equipment, furniture, and fixtures.

·       Cleans lavatories, showers, and restrooms, using correct chemicals on all surfaces.

·       Cleans common areas, including high traffic areas, hallways, stairwells, breakrooms, lunchrooms, and coffee areas.

·       Sweeps/vacuums and mops floors.

·       Communicating with customers daily in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications: 

·       6 months experience in a custodial capacity is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

·       Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking.  Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

Requirements:

·       Valid state Driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance carrier.

·       Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
