SierTeK Ltd. is seeking an Ground Operations Manager for Pararescue to support an opportunity at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide management of all facets related to Pararescue, special warfare, or similar types of operations in RF-R.

Essential Job Functions

Perform tasks as assigned by designated government supervisor related to the JELC process for RF-R or associated training events.
Provide the Chief for Ground Operations or Director of Operations with subject matter expertise for all facets related to Pararescue, Special Warfare, or similar operations in RF-R.
Plan, manage, track, and execute all medical scenario coordination and associated ground operation tasks or other Detachment One training events IAW the JELC or Joint Task Capability.
Assist Detachment government staff with scenario development IAW JELC.
Production of all background papers, briefs, and reports as directed by Detachment government supervisors.
Develops medical plan and works with appropriate medical mentors and trainers to facilitate medical logistics orders and medical support during exercise execution.
Manage logistical requirements for all special warfare assets tasked to participate in RF-R.
Liaise with Points of Contact (POC's) from units tasked to participate in RF-R to identify and integrate medical learning objectives
Ensures all required ground operations support, planning, and execution tasks are completed in the following functional areas per USAF RF-R Training Program Accreditation and Review Report (27 January 2012): Scenario Development, Scenario Scripting, and Scheduling for Combat Search & Rescue, Fighter Rescue Escort, Attack Helicopter Rescue Escort, Survival Evasion Resistance Escape, Nonconventional Assisted Recovery, Special Operations Integration, Joint Integration, Interagency Integration, Austere Forward Operating Location Environment, Re-integration, Live Ordinance Delivery, Communications Interoperability, Realistic Medical Training and Security Cooperation.
Develop, coordinate, and publish required exercise schedules, execution instructions, budget strategies, force structure, doctrine, and exercise execution procedures.
Develop annual ground/medical operations financial plan and management of the distribution of associated exercise funds
Monitor and manage the ground operations during exercise execution.
Supervise and manage medical plans and treatment by Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) during RF-R operations, to facilitate medical treatment and evacuation in emergency situations.
Develop, coordinate, and execute special warfare scenarios tailored to meet requirements of USSOCOM special warfare assets including/but not limited to: Pararescue, combat controller, tactical air control party, Special reconnaissance, and other joint capabilities.
Provide first responder advanced medical treatment when required in the field in order to save life, limb, and eyesight during emergency situations as commensurate with existing necessary accreditations as identified in para 5.4.1.4. Current certifications of training will be provided to 414 CTS Det One Commander or designated representative and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) prior to first day of employment and updated immediately upon any expiration.
Ensure USAF Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) techniques utilized in all JELC stages to ensure RF-R organizational learning in JELC Stage 5, capturing emerging future operational capacities, and coordinate with Lessons Learned manager to incorporate data into JELC Stage 1.
Monitor, manage, and operate in maritime environments by performing rescue swimmer safety duties, operating on vessels, jet ski (ARC) vehicles, zodiac or wing boats, as in accordance with equipment specific operating instructions and executing water borne operations in accordance with pararescue tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Maintain capability in loading, unloading, and securing equipment to vehicles in accordance with operations manuals, NTSB and Air Force standards.
Operate government furnished vehicles and trailers in accordance with AFI 24-301 and DAVIS MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE INSTRUCTION 24-302.
Maintain current knowledge on tactics, techniques, and procedures to modernize RF-R exercises to facilitate special warfare training objectives.
Manage, monitor, and execute tactical scenarios with the use of tactical off-road vehicles, night vision goggles, weapons, rescue tools, and medical equipment.
Other duties as required to facilitate exercise or Detachment One requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements

Seven years of experience as a certified USAF Pararescue Evaluator.
Demonstrated experience with exercise management of Pararescue operations and Realistic Military Training (RMT) regulations.
Demonstrated experience communicating and coordinating with local communities and government officials in support of military operations and training.
Current Paramedic Certifications.
Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to work on a multi-disciplinary level in coordinating requirements from other functional representatives.
Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
