SEO Manager - SD Wheel - Appleton, WI

Develop and execute SEO strategies for 10+ consecutive companies to hit 60% YOY organic growth targets. This person must ensure we build a team that focuses on growing our organic footprint to dominate search engines while keeping a customer-first mentality with any decisions we make. Work along with development teams and marketing teams to create keyword strategy, backlinking plans, and content creation plans to rank top of the first page in all class A and B searches. Provide guidance on paid search strategies and work alongside with paid advertising teams to complete goals. Coach and develop web developers to build a team of SEO experts.

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute successful SEO strategies

• Manage team of SEO Specialists

• Conduct keyword research to guide content teams

• Review technical SEO issues and have them fixed

• Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy

• Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)

• Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects

• Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns

• Keep knowledgeable of SEO and integrated marketing trends

• Grow SEO team to support business growth

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Minimum days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Experience in lean management preferred

• 3-5 years experience in SEO work
