The Sr. Real Estate Manager is responsible for growing Amazon's physical store footprint. They will work with business leaders to execute on short- and long-term strategies; work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the business needs are being achieved; and autonomously own all real estate activities in a designated region. The Sr. Real Estate Manager will report to the Head of Real Estate.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously refine and execute upon regional market planning strategy using demographic, economic and other relevant data
  • Build a robust pipeline of opportunities through site selection and negotiations
  • Develop and manage broker relationships
  • Negotiate complex lease and legal agreements
  • Craft deal economics to ensure sites meet return requirements; generate pro forma analysis in partnership with Finance
  • Conduct field tours with senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate expectations, requirements and status of projects to key business partners - both internal and external
  • Create, innovate, and implement a relevant system of metrics to manage pipeline and portfolio

Basic Qualifications
Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Relentlessly high standards and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or related field
  • 6+ years' experience in retail real estate site selection, negotiations and development
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
