Job Description
Plans and provides therapeutic recreation interventions for leisure development section of PSR program; supervises provision of services by subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of therapeutic recreation theory and application. Skill in assessing program needs and developing recreational therapy interventions. Skill in supervising subordinate staff. Experience supervising recreational therapy programs and subordinate staff.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from college with a degree in therapeutic recreation/certification as CTRS/combination of experience and/or training. Demonstrated work experience in behavioral health field.
Special Requirements
The successful applicant must pass a criminal background investigation, drug screening test and employment reference check. The applicant must have the ability to perform at the level of physical demands noted on the Employee Work Profile and the verified ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
