Product Marketing Specialist

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for your products. You’ll help craft the messaging and positioning for products; translating technical features and capabilities into benefits. You’ll position these benefits effectively in our space, communicating product and brand value in everything you create. You’ll help drive demand through creative and memorable content, including everything from website copy and blogs to educational ebooks and webinars. In your role as a Product Marketing Specialist, you’ll deeply understand our buyers and clients — who they are, what they care about and how Infosec’s products meet their needs — and will continuously share that knowledge with our product, sales and marketing teams.


Your responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze key players in the market from a brand and content perspective; share findings with internal stakeholders
  • Source and create content that clearly articulates product benefits and brand values, including email copy, case studies, website copy, blog posts and videos
  • Maintain internal and external product collateral (one sheets, training decks, battlecards, etc.), ensuring product information is up-to-date and effectively positioned
  • Collaborate with other departments (client success, content and product) to improve and streamline client communications
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze and optimize marketing tactics across all segments at each stage of the buyer journey — i.e., use data to validate we are sending the right asset and message to the right audience at the right time


Your qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of marketing, product and/or communications experience
  • A love for digital content creation, supported by an strong portfolio of past content and writing samples
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with multiple teams
  • Analytical skills and ability to identify, interpret and use marketing analytics to improve communications and tactics
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed and able to take on responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with technical and/or research teams preferred
