PR Manager, Alexa

Amazon is seeking a self-motivated, creative, and customer-obsessed public relations professional to join our PR team in Seattle. As a PR Manager, you will work with the Alexa PR team and a wide variety of business leaders to imagine, develop and execute Alexa feature launches and go-to-market strategy.

The right candidate will have experience in product or services PR and be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically. This candidate will be able to work fast, manage multiple business stakeholders, look around corners and identify challenges, take ownership of go-to-market strategy for feature launches, support communications colleagues around the world, and work to successfully launch and promote multiple Alexa features to customers.

Core job responsibilities include:

• Act as PR business partner to the Alexa leadership teams

• Collaborate with internal teams to drive successful Alexa feature launches and go-to-market strategy

*

• Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with media

*

• Create press releases, pitches and other content to secure media including print, broadcast and online outlets

*

• Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges

*

• Dive deep into Alexa feature launches to determine PR and product challenges and opportunities to effectively drive a successful go-to-market strategy

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of public relations experience
