The Control Center Video Surveillance Monitoring Analyst will join an established team of professionals who are respected for dedication and loyalty.

What our work looks like

Noralta Technologies continuously pursues opportunities to grow our client base. We are seeking a Video Surveillance Monitoring Analyst who would be tasked with the following additional duties / responsibilities in support of both expanding and assisting Noralta’s customers.

Responsibilities:

  • View and monitor remote video surveillance and thermal cameras for problems on sites.
  • Out-bound calls to all clients – notification of issues, trouble shooting on service, etc. (can involve after-hours call outs).
  • Continual communication with our technical staff and clients located in the field, providing major facility and single well monitoring for the client sites that Noralta monitors.
  • Alarm Management, response to and providing solutions to the client.
  • Technical help and troubleshooting using a calm, multi-tasking approach.
  • Focus on improving techniques and efficiencies with implementation of technology.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) in English, this skill is a must have.
  • Preference given to those with post-secondary education (or equivalent experience), preferably in a Petroleum-related field allowing an understanding of the technology and sites being monitored.
  • 2 or more years of remote video surveillance monitoring experience.
  • Previous oilfield operating experience as well as SCADA experience would be considered assets.
  • Computer hardware/software competency, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Network, programming, database administration and other technological knowledge would be considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Reliable, positive, and self-motivated, displaying strong customer service aptitude.

Additional details

This is an entry level position with a starting wage commensurate with experience.
Health insurance stipend in lieu of health insurance plan.
This position follows a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, 12 hours per day and night shift.
This position is in The Woodlands, TX. Applicants will be responsible for their own transportation to the Control Center.
