Mercury Marine is seeking an eCommerce Senior Business Analyst to shape & accelerate this fast-growing B2B and B2C channels, analyzing and identify key insights and drive strategic programs. This role will be working very closely with business area leads, internal IT team and IT outsourcing partner in delivering e-commerce capabilities.

Keen problem solving, effective process development, and continued commitment to improve the customer experience will be integral to achieving the role’s objectives. The role will require close communication with a cross-functional group that includes Sales, Marketing, Service and Warranty.

This role will be critical in developing and growing digital partnerships for both new and existing customers, with a heavy focus on looking to expand Mercury Marine eCommerce presence into both new sales strategies with current platform partners and new customer partnerships.

Key Components of the Role

  • Assist in developing eCommerce strategy and key areas of focus to drive growth for the organization
  • Manage reporting and analysis of eCommerce data, while also identifying growth opportunities and go-forward strategy accordingly
  • Own ad hoc exploratory work, conducting industry research and analyzing trends to identify opportunities to drive further growth on current online platforms as well as incremental opportunities via new channels
  • Define new product launch and go-to-market plans by eCommerce platform in partnership with Marketing and Service teams
  • Partner with sales/category marketing teams to support promotional activities on eCommerce platforms
  • Responsible for working with other functional areas to gather, analyze and document business requirements and processes impacting the website, order management or warehouse management systems.
  • Capture and author user stories that accurately reflect business requirements

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

    Minimum

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • 2-3 years work experience in eCommerce
  • Experienced in managing strategic projects, especially fostering and coordinating strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Working knowledge of ecommerce, order management and fulfillment processes
  • Highly organized, with proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive and results-oriented in a time-sensitive environment
  • Strong business acumen, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and Magento is a plus

  • Experience helping manage an eCommerce business and developing/executing eCommerce strategy
