- On the job trainingWhat You Will Be Doing

You will spend the majority of your day on the phone, reaching 1,100 to 1500 accounts per month, collecting money due from medical insurance companies, patients and hospitals in a team environment and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Additionally, you will receive training to read medical files and pathology reports to determine write-off amounts based on acceptable reimbursement, as well as, how to prepare custom appeal letters.What You Need for this Position

3+ years of experience as a Medical Collections Representative an Associate's degree or greater and skills in:

- Patient and medical insurance collections
- Ability to learn to read and understand complex medical report; pathology
- Negotiation
- Phone Skills
- Medical Collections Lifecycle
