Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting and implementing global marketing plans for all ProPharma Group marketing strategies and tactics under the direction of the Director and in alignment with global plans.

This position can be remote.

Essential Functions include:

  • Following global conference management standards, assist in the planning and participation of conferences; responsible for managing approved event registrations, coordination of conference exhibits, equipment, setting expectations with attendees regarding leads/contact forms to ensure required forms are filled out and received in their entirety after every event (free or fee based) as headquarters reports on all events.
  • Document event leads/contacts into CRM system.
  • Execute on approved marketing plan initiatives including direct mailing campaigns, and advertisements in technical periodicals in line with ProPharma Group brand standards.
  • Assist in the development of individual marketing plans for each service line, including but not limited to market research, target list identification, and competitive analysis.
  • Research and identify new opportunities for advertising, sponsorships, peer reviewed publications, webinar participation, etc. and share with team.
  • Lead the efforts in gathering, editing, and publishing blogs with review and approval by managers, marketing team, etc.
  • Evaluate ROI and additional KPIs for assigned responsibilities within the marketing team.
  • Manage relationships with current external vendors (marketing agencies/CRM support agency/promo item vendors/etc.).
  • Manage the development of internal colleague newsletter: The Link.
  • Assist with developing, proof-reading, drafting, and executing various written assets, such as advertisements in technical publications, brochures and other sales materials, case studies, emails, newsletters, web page content, presentations, etc.
  • Maintain and update Proposal Templates
  • Track BD requests for marketing support and present to global marketing meetings.
  • Help plan and organize any ProPharma Group hosted events (symposium/local events/etc.).
  • Assist with various Marketing reports for the business.
  • Assist in developing sales presentations aligned with ProPharma Group brand standards.
  • Establish communication and flow of leads from Marketing to Sales via proper channels (BD Inside Sales or BD Field sales, etc.).
  • May attend some conferences as appropriate, per manager’s direction.
  • Collaborate with other team members to execute upon the annual and quarterly client survey process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

  • 4-year University degree with coursework in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of written marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (CRM, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Ability to participate in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
