As Marketing Manager eCommerce, responsibilities include analyzing, reviewing, recommending, building and executing a strategy to drive e-commerce business profitability, increasing visitors, improving conversion rates, capturing larger average order sizes and managing margin performance.

Other competencies associated with primary function and scope are as follows:

  • Possess in-depth competitor and market share understanding.
  • Display initiative to remove obstacles.
  • Demonstrate high-level presentation/communication skills.
  • Manage across functional areas to see the “big picture.”
  • Understand operational, manufacturing, forecasting, and production planning processes and understand quantitative analysis and NPD process.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute Power Group e-commerce strategy for whole goods, service parts, and extended services.
  • Collaborate with Power Group omni-channel professionals to deliver a world class online experience to Kohler Power customers and the end consumer. Identify customer needs and business opportunities within the channel.
  • Plan, forecast, and implement marketing programs and promotions for the E-Commerce business. Include special promotions, buying opportunities, rebate programs, and ongoing support programs for product categories and market segments.
  • Analyze point of sale reports to help management understand the success of promotions/marketing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend revision to existing or new products and programs based upon market feedback and sales trends.
  • Manage merchandising content optimization and web analytics to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage, analyze and improve engagement and conversion activity.


Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related subject required. MBA/MS or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce required.
  • 10 or more years prior experience in Sales, Marketing, Channel Management, and/or Product Development with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results required.


Travel

  • Travel to trade shows, manufacturing plants, and customer visits as needed, approximately 20-30%.
