Marketing Communication Specialist - Pro-Active Engineering - Sun Prairie, WI

Pro-Active Engineering, located in Sun Prairie, WI, is a provider of quality electronic design and manufacturing solutions for industrial, medical, commercial, and military applications. We are currently looking for a dynamic mid-level Marketing Specialist to work with the Sales Manager to coordinate and develop a business-to-business marketing strategy that will grow our company's brand along with our customer base and sales.

Essential Functions

• Research, develop, implement, and maintain a marketing plan, to include company brand guidelines, social media updates, website content development using WordPress, SEO, writing white papers, blogging, e-mail marketing and distribution, publications, events, and other strategies as needed.
• Coordinate marketing activities with outside experts (ex: website developers or print shops) and internal teams (ex: Sales) as needed.
• Develop, write, edit, and design a variety of traditional and online marketing messages.
• Develop and manage project timelines, including monitoring internal and external deadlines and ensuring the execution of specific campaign deliverables.
• Create and execute lead generation programs.
• Create and provide reports/analytics on results from campaigns, website visits, Google searches, etc.
• Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines.
• Develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results, and project recommendations to the senior management team.
• Attend various networking events that strengthen the company’s brand.

Required Education and Experience

Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Strong knowledge of marketing techniques and graphic design.

1-2 years of marketing experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Experience with photography and/or video production.

3+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record showing successful ROI from previous marketing campaigns.
