Cherry Optical Lab

Cherry Optical, a national leader in the manufacturing and delivery of the world's best optical lenses is rapidly growing and we are seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team!

We are looking for someone fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite, enthusiastic about quality work, and who can help us convey our individuality as a homegrown, hardworking, happy group of people. We need comprehensive design and personal project management skills to assert our aesthetic and brand across the nation. There is a direct correlation between our team's hard work and the success and growth of Cherry Optical Lab. As one of the main channels of communication internally and from the laboratory to the outside world, you must be creative minded and willing to put yourself out there. Responsibilities:

  • Integrate graphic design, branding, and the Cherry voice into awareness campaigns, advertisements, and promotions while streamlining campaign strategies
  • Actively listen to industry partners to understand their needs as well as the benefits of their products for our customers while co-branding our styles and values to provide top-notch experiences
  • Maintain and, in some cases, pioneer processes that allow for successful collaboration between marketing, sales team, and our customer service department

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Marketing, Communications or other related major
  • 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, but others are a plus!), Excel, Slack, and Zoom
  • Experience with photography and video, lighting and editing
  • Ability to use Social Media Apps and consequent Campaign Tools as well as Email Marketing platforms (Mailchimp), and the corresponding data analytics
  • Experience maintaining websites or minimal coding is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Masks are required and provided. We thoroughly clean work surfaces throughout the day and generally try to keep as clean of a work environment as possible. Cherry Optical Lab is not open to the public.

  • Graphic Design or Marketing: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Email marketing: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Maintaining Websites: 1 year (Preferred)
