Renewaire LLC

The Front-end Developer will work with all functional areas of the business including Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to support our enterprise wide development initiatives, including our digital quote to cash rule-based configurator (CORES). The Front-end developer will be integral to positioning CORES as the gold standard for all outward facing engagement from quotes, through production, to shipping operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • UI development, optimization and testing in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Rule development for the online product-configurator application
  • Development of formal documentation
  • Image and graphics manipulation
  • Develop code that is reusable, scalable, and optimized for speed
  • Scripting support for other aspects of IT automation
  • Help other team members with coding and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with team members to create functional requirements, gather design details, and provide solutions
  • Acts as a primary resource that programs for the company’s primary customer facing external ordering and configuring platform
  • Collaborates with multi-functional user requirements teams to translate customer needs and desires into programs and interfaces for optimal stakeholder and customer experience that successfully drive the business

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in Programming, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field – or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years’ experience with web UI development projects, utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along w/ REST and JSON structure(s)
  • Strong general office computer skills incl. MS Office, CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics), etc.
  • Experience with practical application of responsive web design and accessibility standards
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing or Engineering environment a plus
  • Previous experience working with WordPress or other CMS systems a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills- clearly communicate with stakeholders of varying technical expertise on technical and customer support issues

  • Team oriented, but with the ability to work independently
