Flagpole Technician / Installation Crew Member

We are hiring a full-time Flagpole Technician to join a stable, family-owned company that has been in business for over 70 years. No prior flagpole experience is required – we will train.

What you’ll do

• Install and service flagpoles, foundations, and flagpole parts and accessories
• Change ropes, snaps, flags, and hardware using ladders, boom lifts, and occasionally cranes (up to 150 feet)
• Perform physical labor including digging holes, working with concrete, sand, aluminum, and steel, and lifting up to 100 lbs
• Travel to various customer sites and sometimes work independently
• Use a smartphone/tablet for timekeeping, scheduling, and job communication
• When not in the field, assist in the office with customer calls, estimates, scheduling, and inventory support

What we’re looking for

• Hard-working, reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions
  Able to safely use hand and power tools and lift up to 80 lbs unassisted

Must have:

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Can pass a background check
• Basic computer / internet skills and ability to follow written instructions
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder
