Encompass is seeking a motivated problem solver who is excited about and conversant in accounting language and best practices. Our analysts communicate directly with customers via phone, email and our online task system.  Accounting analysts in particular provide guidance on best practices for the usage of our accounting products.  Our team members analyze, debug, and resolve simple and complex user issues. Great analysts are passionate about solving problems and great at customer communication, documenting issue status, reproduction steps and progress.  Our team of analysts also participates in the onboarding of new customers and may travel to customer sites as needed to deliver on-site training.   Our Accounting Analysts understand the basics of accounting best practices and can advocate for product enhancements and fixes on behalf of their customers.

We are looking for a motivated, curious professional who: 

• Wants a career outside of a traditional accounting role focusing on being an expert in accounting software solutions
• Possesses a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, MIS, CIS, Finance, or a related degree.
• Can quickly become credible as a teacher in the accounting portion of a proprietary software product
• Demonstrates the ability to work on a team or independently, delivering high quality work on schedule
• Is passionate about learning new technologies and skills and can stay current in a constantly evolving product which has frequent releases
• Is proficient with accounting concepts, including financial reporting
• Can effectively communicate accounting concepts and practices through written or verbal means
• Is comfortable traveling periodically to customer locations for face to face training.

• Are averse to 25-30% travel

Salary Range:  $45,000 - $65,000 annually
