Safety:  Understand and comply with all safety regulations.  Be able to identify and correct safety hazards; participate in regular safety training, safety topic meetings and task training.  Cooperate with all external inspectors as necessary.  The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Receives daily instructions from QC Manager or Plant Chemist
Collects samples to be analyzed
Prepares and analyzes samples according to lab standards
The ability to attend work on a regular and predictable basis
The ability to work well with co-workers and others without supervision
The ability to follow policies and practices of the employer
Operates X-Ray and other lab equipment to determine the chemical composition and physical characteristics of raw materials, kiln feed, clinker and cement
Makes notifications of anomalies in test results or equipment operation appropriately according to QA Plan guidelines and experience
Makes changes in weighfeeder controls to ensure the production of quality product and intermediates.
Performs all other tasks as assigned

This is a rotating 12 hour shift work position. It requires work every other weekend.
