Director of Housing Services - City of Westminster, Maryland

The City of Westminster is seeking a proven, dedicated, responsive, and experienced individual to serve as its next Director of Housing Services. The candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. Familiarity with the International Property Maintenance Code, as well as knowledge of local government rental licensing programs and procedures, are desirable. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Public Administration, Business, Administration, or a related field and six or more years of progressively responsible experience in the field or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Prior experience as the Executive Director of a Public Housing Authority would be a plus. Minimum salary for the position is $85,722, plus a competitive fringe benefit program. Consideration of higher salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
