DRSN Technician

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance support for a complex DRSN System at Fort Meade, MD.
Run daily operational checks on the DRSN system and report any operational issues within an hour of discovery
Outage reports
Responsible for the repair, replacement, installation and maintenance of outdated or broken equipment
Perform operation and maintenance of all common computing security standards (CCSS) hardware and software
Part of the team in charge of the onsite maintenance at DISA Headquarters facility on all equipment connected to the switch and switch extension device up to the demarcation point
Responsible for the performance of preventativce maintenance via Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI)
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Understanding of DRSN systems, network protocols, and peripheral equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
DRSN training in Ft. Huachuca, AZ is a bonus
