Skyline Technologies is seeking a self-starting and motivated Digital Marketing Intern who wants practical hands-on experience. You will join an agile and fast-moving marketing team responsible for building brand awareness and driving leads for two brands. This is the perfect opportunity to practically apply your education and gain new skills. This is a part-time position requiring up to 20 hours a week.

This is primarily a support role for the Marketing and SEO teams. You will daily interact with managers, directors, associates, and clients. Though this is an entry level role, you will have many opportunities to be part of strategy sessions to find solutions to business challenges.

What your typical day looks like:

  • Write marketing copy for digital content, digital ads, websites, email marketing campaigns, etc.
  • Edit images for use in marketing and social content
  • Develop video content with associates and clients
  • Build landing pages for marketing campaigns
  • Assist with implementing, monitoring, optimizing, and managing campaigns, websites, social media, digital marketing, etc.
  • Perform any special duties as assigned by your leader

What we look for (minimum requirements):

  • Must either be a graduate of or enrolled as a student at an accredited university or technical college studying for a degree in marketing, advertising, or something similar.
  • Experience with video production and video editing tools like Camtasia
  • Experience with photo/image editing tools like Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or Canva
  • Experience with website content management systems like Kentico, WordPress, etc.
  • Experience with content marketing practices
  • Experience with email marketing practices
  • Understanding of Google Analytics
  • Fast-learner and creative

Bonus if you...

  • Are familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies, tactics, and tools
  • Are familiar with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategies, tactics, and tools
  • Are familiar with digital advertising principles
  • Have experience with marketing automation
  • Have experience and expertise with video production
  • Have prior marketing experience
