PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for all aspects of Advanced Laser’s digital presence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage website development and updates and assist third party contractors as needed.
  • Contribute to the organization, creation, optimization and development of website platform content.
  • Utilize, manage and report website analytics to ensure our brands are properly represented in the digital space and that our potential customer and future employees can easily locate our sites.
  • Manage all company social platforms and monitor social channels daily. Serve as a social media expert within the company, maintaining a solid understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics.
  • Effectively and efficiently support communication campaigns on social media network, including a well-articulated approach for growing engagement with potential employees and community members.
  • Respond to requests from internal departments, including creating and routing content and scheduling posts.
  • Create and select digital ads and performance monitoring, digital marketing plan, etc.
  • Support work related to promotional contests.
  • Assist with internal employee messaging, and selected external marketing materials, as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • 1 or more years of public relations and/or consumer marketing experience, including social media, influencer marketing or marketing.
  • Knowledge of strategic social media, influencer marketing and public relations practices
  • Intermediate understanding of all social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter – both as a marketer and as a user.
  • Experience supporting event planning and management.
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing, editing and communications skills.
  • Demonstrate writing and identification of quality social media content.
  • Knowledge of graphic design best practices, principles and software preferred.
  • Pursuing a college degree in Digital Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing Analytics, Marketing Analytics Emphasis
