Content Marketing Intern - Shoptikal, LLC - Green Bay, WI

POSITION SUMMARY:

Support the Content Marketing Specialist in generation of copy and content for all marketing channels. Participate in all stages of marketing campaigns to gain broad experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CONTENT

• Collaborate in writing copy for print, website, social channels, emails and other digital mediums
• Translate merchant language into consumer-friendly copy
• Assist in monitoring and responding to customers inquiries
• Maintain Shopko Optical Website Newsroom
• Follow Shopko Optical copy voice
• Utilize WordPress’ interface to add, change or remove copy as needed

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing or recent graduate with degree in Communications, Advertising, Journalism or English
• Familiar with social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Proficient with Word Press and Word
• Expert knowledge of English grammar
• Proficiency with proofreading and editing
• Strong conceptual skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting different deadlines
• Collaborative personality and the ability to work within a team
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to thrive within a fast-paced environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)
• Ability to see (Near, Distance, Color, and Depth Perception)
• Able to evaluate color
• Able to lift 10 to 20 pounds
• Able to view/read computer screen for extended periods of time
• Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines
• Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development
