Childcare Staff - Inside Out Learning Center - Sheridan, WY

Inside Out Learning Center is looking for male and female Child Care Staff aging between 18-19 years old that are just out of High School! We are looking for staff who can encourage healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. We are a therapeutic center which ages range from 18 months to 5 years. Preschoolers will learn emotional regulation, executive functioning, coping skills, conflict resolution, and appropriate peer and social interactions.

This position may include bouncing from one of our locations to the other!

Responsibilities

• Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
• Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities - therapy play
• Observe children interaction and make sure each child is getting their individual needs met.
• Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action
• Collaborate with other colleagues
• Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

Skills

• Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher
• Methodical, creative, and therapeutic
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Certificate in first aid and CPR

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
