About the Opportunity:

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible and accountable for developing and executing the Marketing Communication strategy for the Oxford Instruments business in the Americas region. The individual will focus on driving awareness and demand through multi-channel integrated campaigns targeting the Americas region customer, priority segments, and prospect base. This individual is part of the Americas marketing team and will collaborate frequently with global Business Line teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing integrated, multi-touch marketing communications strategy, experienced in campaign execution, and enjoys using results analytics to drive performance against goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop strategic MarCom plans in alignment with marketing goals, ultimately contributing to business objectives
Develop, and continuously optimize integrated digital, omnichannel campaigns based on data to increase customer engagement and provide Marketing Qualified Leads
Share campaign and channel metrics including key learnings and recommendations with stakeholders on a regular basis
Ensure brand consistency both internally and externally
Collaborate with Marketing to identify target audience segments and buyer personas and build relevant marcom strategies to drive desired target audience behaviours
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate & execute specialized customer-facing collateral, per company objectives and branding guidelines
Develop and lead execution of marketing campaign plans consisting of collateral, digital advertising, email marketing, website content and multimedia development
Establish campaign KPIs and ensure performance meets or exceeds target results
Develop, execute and continuously optimize campaign strategy/plans based on analytics
Develop intuitive sales enablement assets
Manage agency landscape and all related projects with external and internal agencies and groups (i.e. media, creative, digital, content marketing)
Actively monitor regional industry trends and competitor activity to enable proactive development of strategies to exploit opportunities and circumvent threats.
About YOU:

The right candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Marketing or related field; 6+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing experience, marketing experience in Material/Life Sciences in Academic and/or Industrial business segments preferred, and the ability to travel approximately 20% time.  You are a highly driven professional, focused on driving results; a strategic thinker; highly organized with a strong affinity for detail; with strong collaboration skills and the ability to bring teams of people together across department functions and geographies.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience designing, executing, and optimizing integrated, multi-channel demand creation and lead generation campaigns
Understanding of audience targeting, buyer persona development and associated value proposition creation
Ability to develop customer-centric Marketing Communication programs including digital, omnichannel campaigns and value-based messaging
Depth of experience in integrated lead generation campaigns and understanding of lead management best practices
Skilled in digital marketing and understanding of latest digital channels
Proficient in content marketing
Experience with marketing automation and related martech platforms preferred
Ability to evaluate the performance and impact of a channels/campaigns to continuously improve the contribution to the bottom line
Strong operational and business acumen
Events experience, including tradeshows, webinars, and customer workshops
Excellent communications skills including copywriting, creative brief development and an understanding of content marketing best practices
Experience managing external agencies including creative, media, digital, and PR
