You are:

As the Marketing Automation Manager, you are an experienced user of Sales Force Marketing Automation for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that drive leads and nurture existing relationships. You are also a driver of new approaches and understand the power of cross-channel marketing automation, and possibly experienced in the development and execution of this practice. You are also an experienced manager, leading others to drive campaign results and optimization. You embrace data and dig deep into results to find ways to improve performance. You’re an excellent communicator, informing strategic decision-making and campaign investment.


You will:


As a Manager of Marketing Automation your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create, execute, and optimize marketing automation programs and lead nurturing campaigns inclusive of email and forms
  • Elevate and lead our email marketing A/B testing program
  • Uncover opportunities to optimize email conversion and engagement
  • Own and oversee email subscriber base management—segmentation, list acquisition/import, data cleansing, web form capture, lead management, etc.
  • Manage Pitney Bowes marketing automation platform, Salesforce Marketing
  • Oversee process and technical integration of marketing automation platform with Salesforce.com and other third-party platforms
  • Evolve our marketing automation into an omni-channel multi-touch program
  • Assess email marketing current state and define a marketing orchestration strategy to include additional automated touchpoints to our campaign journeys leveraging additional channels (web, social, SMS, etc.)
  • Outline our roadmap and requirements to leverage technology and automation to contact our clients and prospects at the right time through the right channel with the right content
  • Ensure operational integrity, including legal compliance with all policies and email program including adherence to state and country guidelines
  • Manage our Salesforce Marketing Cloud relationship to ensure we are keeping pace with industry best-practice
  • Manage a team of marketing automation developers
  • Lead a community of marketing automation to collaborate with program owners to optimize marketing campaign performance

Qualifications


Your background:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in a marketing automation
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience leading a small team
  • BA/BS in marketing, statistics, economics, math, finance, engineering or other related field, advanced degree a plus
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar
  • Experience with Salesforce.com Sales Cloud or similar CRMs
  • Analytical thinker with a strong passion for automation, analysis, and evangelizing data usage
  • Broad understanding of online marketing, including various online media types (display, search, email, social, etc.)
  • Driven E2E marketing strategies tied to revenue
  • Vendor management and project management skills are required
  • Outstanding MS Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be influential, but able to work effectively in a project team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment partnering with multiple functions and geographies is essential to success in this position


Preferred:

  • Experience with tag management solutions such as Adobe DTM, Adobe Launch, Tealium, Google Tag Manager, Signal, etc. a plus
  • Experience with A/B testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target, Maxymiser, Monetate, Optimizely a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Insight, Power BI, Tableau and other data aggregation platforms is a plus
