Alpha and Omega Building Services is an established Commercial Cleaning company servicing some of the most well known and prestigious customers in the Cincinnati and Dayton Marketplace for over 30 years. This position is responsible for achieving staffing objectives by recruiting, evaluating job candidates and advising managers.

Position is located in the Cincinnati/Blue Ash area.

Job duties include but not limited to:

Attracting applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters and using news groups and job sites. Create/post vacancies and contact candidates via applicant tracking system.

Arrange and conduct interviews (both in person and phone.)

Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references and comparing qualification to job requirements

Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications

Assure candidate meets qualifications, complete appropriate new hire paperwork, conduct FBI/BCI checks and completes/relates information (to Corporation Office) for the Employee Management System (EMS) onboarding

Updates applicant tracking system (post new jobs/update candidate status)

Accepts/reviews correct information to Complete all I9's according to Federal regulations

Responsible for tracking uniform inventory

Take picture of new hires and create ID badge.

Assist with daily office procedures such as answering phones and greeting guest

Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures and conducting training.

Maintain confidentiality at all times

Education and/or Experience

Must have recruiting experience
Social media experience a plus
Preferred Experience

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
Other Skills & Abilities

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Recruiting and interviewing skills (include phone and Skype interviews).
Familiarity with relevant employment law.
Must be able to multi-task, maintain a high level of confidentiality/professionalism and handle high volume recruiting.
Ability to collaborate and partner with candidates and management.
Must be professional, organized and have project management skills.
